HISTORIC HOME, GA

Functional Lighting Origins recently completed this private residence in Georgia—a beautifully restored historic home originally built in 1895. The owners and the Interior Designer worked closely together to preserve the home’s original charm while adding modern features.

The project also included two new buildings—a cabana and a garage lounge—that allowed the property to grow while still honoring its historic character. Like many old homes, there were some challenges with where we could place recessed lighting because of the existing structure. We worked through these on-site with a lot of teamwork and flexibility.
